champions, Abu Dhabi.
At the intermediate grade some 16 teams were split evenly
between men’s and ladies with the possible favourites in the
men’s Singapore B, Thailand and Taiwan, while in the ladies
the ones to watch were Shanghai B, Singapore B, Beijing A
and Thailand.
The junior competition always features a lot of local and
international players with 6 teams in men’s junior and a
further 6 sides in ladies. Teams from Vietnam, Shanghai,
Singapore and Taiwan were the favourites.
Five teams lined-out in Hurling with Hong Kong and
visitors Dubai the favourites while in Camogie a further
3 will be in action with the vising Middle East team the
big danger to Hong Kong and Singapore.

SINGAPORE DEFEND TITLE
This competition was broken into two groups of four
with Group A consisting of Singapore A, Hong Kong,
Shanghai A, Singapore C/D, Taiwan, and Thailand A,
while Group B was Seoul, Dubai, Singapore B and Kuala
Lumper.
