FRANCE GUERANDE, BRITTANY FRANCE GAELIC FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP JUNE 6, 2015 TOULOUSE NEW CHAMPIONS OF FRANCE RENNES LADIES REPEAT While we didn’t have any surprise in the France Ladies Football Championship finals recently at Guerande as Rennes Ladies took victory once more we had new men’s champions of France this time in the guise of Tolosa Gaels. A record 23 teams from all over France gathered at the coastal town of Guerande for the 2015 France Gaelic Championship on June 6th with 5 teams in the ladies event and no less than 18 in men’s competitions split into Elite (senior), Honneur (intermediate) and Promotion (junior). The France Championship began in 2012 with just 8 teams and in just three short years has grown dramatically with some 300 athletes at Guerande. 28 Toulouse player in possession in game versus Nantes.
