Budget Highlights
The FY2024-2025 Adopted Budget includes : � $ 120,859 to fund a Building Inspector III to conduct critical plan review work for the department . � $ 104,039 to fund a Development Services Specialist to build internal capacity within the department .
� $ 337,102 to fund two Lead Building Inspectors to ensure effective span of control , and provide the Inspections Department with the ability to increase workload efficiency through splitting the Town into two sections to better handle service delivery .
FY2023-2024 Accomplishments � Performed 43,600 inspections , a 20 % increase over the previous year . � Issued 2,575 permits ; 10 % increase over the previous year . � Reviewed 1,545 plans ; 12 % increase over the previous year . � Received 1,573 code compliance cases and completed 1725 Fire Inspections . � Completed over 1000 hours of training , and ten inspectors received additional or new Standard
Certifications . � Added two additional building inspectors to our program . � Co-sponsored GWBCO – Continuing Education Conference for Electrical Contractors .
