XFL SELECTS CHOCTAW STADIUM AS HUB
In July 2022 , XFL owners Dany Garcia , Dwayne Johnson and RedBird Capital Partners announced they had selected Arlington as the league ’ s new football operations hub , signing a three-year agreement . This hybrid hub model provides a centralized performance facility and multiple practice venues for the league ’ s eight teams , giving all players access to full-time , on-site support from coaches and athletic training staff .
Our local team , the Arlington Renegades , took the field for the first time at the iconic Choctaw Stadium , former home of the Texas Rangers , on Feb . 18 , 2023 . Choctaw Stadium is also serving as the in-week practice facility for both the Arlington and Houston teams . In partnership with REV Entertainment , the exclusive event coordinator of Choctaw Stadium , the XFL is also using Choctaw and its surrounding venues for team meeting spaces , in-person entertainment and fan engagement opportunities .

• Ann ’ s Natural Grocery & Nutrition held its ribbon cutting in Downtown Arlington in May 2022 .
• The City of Arlington and the Taste Project , an organization designed to help feed , educate and serve Tarrant County ’ s food insecure residents are partnering to bring the nonprofit ’ s pay-what-you-can community restaurant concept to Arlington .
• Wallbox , a leading provider of electric vehicle charging solutions , opened a 130,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on Forum Drive in October 2022 .
