he Arlington City Council
consists of a mayor and eight
council members elected by the voters
of Arlington. Five are elected from
districts to represent geographic parts

of the City. The mayor and three
at-large council member districts are
elected by the entire City. Members
serve two-year terms, with annual
elections in May.
