Vice
Commodore’s
Report
The new boat ramp is complete
and open for use. The project
was completed exactly as
planned in spite of high tides
caused by south winds, a full
moon and lots of rain. At the
Spring Membership Meeting, I
plan to show some photos that
will give our members an idea
how the ramp was replaced.

We have a great plan for preparing
the club for a hurricane. But we don’t have a disaster
recovery plan that will provide guidance on how to deal
with severe damage to our buildings or docks, be it
from fire, flood or high winds. Building sufficient
financial resources will be a critical element of the plan.
Please contact me if you would like to participate on
our Disaster Recovery Committee. Or just call if you
have any ideas on recovering from a disaster. 850-978-

I still need a volunteer to lead a landscaping committee.
Mike does a great job manicuring our grounds but he
can use fresh ideas for improvement and a little help
with some of his projects.
