I would like to thank the multitude
of volunteers that have already
spent time on and off the water,
supporting our very busy sailing
program, especially Director Lou
Richard and Wini Jimmerson.
FWYC
is
already
being
approached by several one-design
classes to schedule national-level
events in 2015, but nothing has
been scheduled or confirmed as of
this report. I would also like to
commend FWYC's traveling
sailors. Craig and Deborah
Wilusz, along with Scott and Gail
Mitchell competed in the Hobie 33
class at the St. Pete NOOD Regatta
(Feb 14-16) and tied for first, but
lost on the tiebreaker. Also, two
junior teams sailed in the 420
Midwinters in a fleet of 95 boats at
the US Sailing Center of Martin
County in Jensen Beach - David
Beaudry and Ian Hunter, Kelly
Stukbauer and Sterling Naber.
Congratulations and thank you for
representing the Fort Walton Yacht
Club.
April 26 - Dolphin Island Race @ Mobile YC
April 26 to May 3 - Spring Fling Cruise
