March is here and I can feel
Spring coming. There are a lot
of activities happening at the
Club this month, and they will
only increase as the weather
warms and the days lengthen.
Come to the Club to see some old
friends and make some new
ones. Enjoy a sunset! Take a
Cruise. Join in a Race (either as a competitor or on Race
Committee).

Our Club is a joint investment made by all of us. I wrote
in January about investing our time, talent and
treasures in the club. The wonderful thing about good
investments is that they always bring a return. The
dividends we receive from the Fort Walton Yacht Club
come in the form of memories and friendships.
This month, we have started a new section in the Letter
Log to wish you a Happy Birthday; additionally, you
should receive a Birthday Card from me. Unfortunately,
some of our records are not complete and we don't have
everyone’s birthday, or in a couple of cases, we had the
wrong one. So, if for some reason we miss your
birthday or celebrate it on the wrong day, please let the
office know so we can correct it!
We have 553 LIKES on the
fortwaltonyachtclub Facebook page.
How many more can we get in March?
