OUR LITTLE CLUB is getting bigger. We
out frozen towels upon their return, and for
showing what FWYC is all about! Everybody
pulled together to make this a fun event for
all involved. We know of at least three new
members who are joining after this event.
have a board full of membership applica-
tions moving through the process and we
have fielded SIX membership inquires since
last month. It has been exciting to see all
the attention FWYC is getting through the
hard work of the Membership Commit-
tee and the FWYC Membership. Word of
mouth works as we soar past 300 members.
The ECSA Sailing Lessons have start-
ed and are packed with little ones learn-
ing to sail. The Membership Committee
has been handing out Event Memberships
for the parents to use during the week of
their child’s lessons. We hope they enjoy
their week with us and come back to stay!
The Pineapple Table has had mixed re-
views at best. It seems the Pineapple has
power we were not aware of. It actual-
ly stops people from sitting at the ta-
ble. Who knew? More to follow on this.
We continue to attract new members,
younger members, families young and
old. Please keep spreading the word
that FWYC is changing and growing.
The Bowlegs Launch was a huge success.
We have received an overwhelming num-
ber of positive comments about our Club
and especially our volunteers. We would
like to thank Commodore Faye Black and
1st Minion Jerry Black, PC Phyllis Seaton,
Gerry Harvey, John Farris, Mike Jimmer-
son and Wini Marquez, Kerrie Serpa, Da-
vid and Pat Tye, Jim and Carolyn Williford,
Lynn Woo ten, Luanne Purvis, and Scott
and Jenny Bailey for all your help guid-
ing Krewe members to their boats, passing
