Vice Commodore's Report
Several volunteers participated in working on the Sunrise Lanai in
October and November. We have continued to work on the project to
utilize the remaining material. Thank you to all those who helped.
These volunteers are fantastic!

FC Sam Grant, PC David Seaton, and Charles and Jan Hine are working
to add the extension and refine some electrical components on the hoist.
This effort is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Thank
you all for your efforts and attention to detail on the project!
After investigation concerning the leak on the outside of the building by
the bar, we have found that the drainage pipe installed under the
concrete near the downspout is completely clogged. Mike, our
Maintenance man, has a plan to install an additional pipe under the
concrete and provide adequate drainage for the downspout. He will
begin work around the first of December.
PC Black will work with our Manager on the repair of the mast on the
back lawn. If anyone would like to aid in the project, please contact her.
Previously, we have discussed the repair of the boat ramp. In discussion
with Decks and Such, I received a verbal quote of $75,000 for the
complete replacement of the boat ramp. Bob Fisher has proposed to the
board that we begin repair on the ramp as soon as possible and has
provided an NTE quote to the board for $30,000 from a local contractor.
If you have any questions concerning the project, please contact me or
Bob Fisher.
Lastly, I appreciate having the opportunity to serve as your Vice
Commodore this year and look forward to many more years of service
with the club. Thank you very much for your support and cooperation
and I hope that we will continue with our progress and prosperity in the
coming years.
Respectfully Submitted,
Shari Seaton
