Letter Log April 2019 30° 25.60’N 86° 35.58’W Vice Commodore's Report By now, everyone having a wet slip or boats in our dry storage area should have received a copy of the updated rental agreement. If anyone has questions or would like assistance in completing the documentation, please contact me (Shari Seaton 850 865 9042), Chris Washack, [email protected], or Jim Serpa, [email protected]. We have a lot of documentation in need of update and we are ready and willing to provide support. Also keep in mind, hurricane season is quickly approaching. We should all have our plans ready and be prepared to execute efficiently and effectively when the time approaches for evacuation. Thank you ECSA for offering to replace the swim platform decking. When you see these volunteers out working on the property, thank them for their efforts in helping make our club great! They are a great group of volunteers! We will have a presentation concerning the purchase of dock insurance in the very near future. There are many reasons for and against the purchase, however, I believe the issue requires further investigation. I am working with our Club Manager, Commodore, and Finance Committee Chair to provide information in an open setting to promote discussion. Watch your email and postings on the bulletin board for the date and time. If anyone would like to help with a project requiring some repairs on the gazebo benches and tables or on the playground, please give me a call. We have a few items to tidy up before summer kicks in. See you around the club, Vice Commodore Shari Seaton 4
