vision for Future
Talent LIVE?
Since our inaugural Future
Talent LIVE conference, we’ve
been busy talking to careers
leaders, headteachers and
employers to develop a
proposition that will help
schools meet the Gatsby
Benchmarks and bring the
world of work to life
for students in new and
exciting ways.
Over the coming months,
we’ll be creating a portal where
careers leaders can exchange
ideas, find practical resources
and arrange virtual encounters
with employers. Our portal will
comprise three main elements:

LEARNING FROM PEERS
The Gatsby Benchmarks require schools to rethink the way they
approach careers education. We know that one of the best ways
to address new challenges is to learn from colleagues and peers
and so we are creating a series of discussion forums where careers
leaders can meet online to exchange ideas and best practice
around how to achieve the benchmarks, especially 1, 2, 3 and 8.
It will also be possible to search for local or national employers
and to initiate conversations – from sourcing apprenticeship
schemes to arranging visits (benchmark 6) and scheduling talks
and activities.
