On the first day of the project, there was a welcome speech held by the headmistress and by the Erasmus coordinator at GC School of Careers. Then, there were 3 ice-breaking games for everybody in order to know each other.

The school activity consisited of reusing recycable materials to create useful things, such as trash bins made of recycable plastic.

In the afternoon, we had a cultural visit on the Ledra Street, where we could see the Cathedral, The Famagusta Gate, the Tower Museum and the Gymnasium School built in 1812.

After we met at school in the morning, we went to the University of Cyprus, where we had a talk to a teacher that explained to the students how we can get sustainable energy through the use of solar energy. Then, we visited the Nicosia Town Hall where we met the Mayor and the city responsibles for culture and environment. They presented the activities of the municipality in respect with the environment. They recognize the necessity of having as many green areas as possible in Nicosia and they develop many European projects in this field. Together with the Mayor, we visited the theatre built in 1960.

We went back to school where Dr. Irini Hadjisava, PH D Molecular and Cellular Oncologist, Co- funder Digestive Nutrition Clinic made a presentation about the Microbiome and about healthy living habits. The conclusion was that the health of our gut plays a role in our overall health.
