Meet Renee`Patton
A BREATHING TREASURE
Going into adulthood in the 70’s, Ms. Patton’s jewelry skills helped her pass a dexterity test for employment with AT&T. She worked in an assembly plant assembling telephones for 7 yrs. Until the plant closed. Growing up on military base may have helped guide Ms. Patton in her next step, as she joined the military.
Ms. Patton was familiar with military lifestyle given her father MSgt Herbert Jean Patton serviced in the Air Force doing intelligence until he retired. Ms. Patton on the other hand became a medic. Liking science, she had hopes for the dental lab position, but it had been filled. After20 yrs. Ms. Patton retired from the military.
Ms. Patton has attended Southern University in Shreveport and University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio. After her graduation from Incarnate Word, she became an art teacher for secondary and high school in Dallas Texas. Her 6 yrs. As a teacher was enjoyed by her and the students as she delightfully recalls the children really enjoying painting, paper Mache and pop art using pop cans and other recycled material.
