Lauren Fenwick( Ensemble)
Lauren is thrilled to be part of the magical world of Frozen at Theatre Cedar Rapids! A senior at Coe College majoring in Vocal Music Education, Lauren is passionate about using the power of music to tell stories, inspire others, and maybe hit a few high notes along the way. She has previously been seen in TCR’ s productions of Waitress and Little Shop of Horrors, and will be in the upcoming production of The Little Mermaid. Lauren is always grateful for every opportunity to bring music and movement to the stage. She sends endless love and thanks to her mom and sister for being her biggest cheerleaders and supporting her every step of the way.
Kayla Jean( Ensemble) Mole rats listen, I’ m Kayla( J / G) ean( ie) and WELCOME TO THE TUNNEL! Or Arendelle, I guess. I’ ve actually never seen snow before, because I hail from the hot and sweaty state of California( known for their grapes.) You might recognize me as Joan( from next door to the German club) this past spring. Danké! Or perhaps you saw me as the fully clothed naked mole rat Wilber J Mole Rat Jr. from Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: The Rock Experience at Theatre Cedar Rapids( you are here.) Or maybe I was hiding backstage and you simply sensed my vibes. Or perhaps I WAS onstage but went unnoticed due to a shortage of opera glasses. Now, I may only be 5’ 5”, but I always pack 6’ of personality. Anyhoo-hoo, sit back, drink some glügg, and get your HYGGE ON with us as we thaw those frozen hearts!!
Najaya Johnson( Ensemble) Najaya is thrilled to return to the TCR stage after her inaugural season, debuting in TCR’ s production of Hairspay( Dynamite / Kamilah). Additionally, she was a part of the costume crew for Little Shop of Horrors, which was an absolute delight to be a part of. Najaya would like to express her gratitude to her family and friends for their unwavering support and encouragement in her pursuit of further exploring the world of theater.
Kayla Lansing-Green( Ensemble / Anna Understudy) Kayla is excited to be back with her TCR friends and family bringing this Disney classic to life. She would like to say thank you to her husband and cats, as well as the cast, crew, and her wonderful TCR friends for supporting her and reminding her of the true magic of live theatre. To all of the kids watching a live theatre performance for the first( or second, or third) time, this one is for you! We are so excited to have you here. Samuel Larson( Kristoff) Sam is delighted to be in his sixth show here at TCR, five performing onstage and one being backstage! His most notable credits include Waitress, Carrie: The Musical( Stokes), Into the Woods( Rapunzel’ s Prince) at Kirkwood Community College, Beauty and the Beast( Stage Crew), Jersey Boys( Bob Gaudio), Hairspray( Brad / Link Understudy), and most recently Little Shop of Horrors( Seymour Krelborn).
