want it and it is served on a 450 degree plate.
The steak continues to cook to the requested
temperature upon serving, and is carefully
delivered to the patron when the process is
nearly complete; absolutely amazing!
For steaks, there’s no other place in south
Florida, but that’s not all. You can dine on
the dock and enjoy the beautiful view of Fort
Lauderdale’s skyline as the many prestigious
yachts pass through.
Their wine selection is also endless; if you’re
a wine lover like me, you will be in heaven.
Their lobster mashed potatoes are a definite
MUST TRY. It’s creamy and rich. If you’re really
trying to impress someone or just celebrating a
special occasion, then this is your spot.
*Note this place has a bit of an intimate setting,
so the tables are set a bit close together.

OCEAN 11 (Dive Bar)
800 N Federal Hwy,
Hallandale Beach, FL 33009
(954)454-5858
In between a gas station and a Italian
restaurant sits “Ocean 11”, a dive bar with a super
comfy and relaxed atmosphere, with a joke box.
This spot is very unique because your not going
to expect the quality of food you’ll get from
here; “Ocean 11” takes bar food to another level.
The presentation alone is everything! Hands
down one of the best Surf & Turf I’ve ever had.
This restaurant offers a Happy hour 4-4-1’s
and 2-4-1’s all day. Yup! You heard correctly,
4-4-1 happy hour! This spot has been a gem in
Hallandale for years.

The Le Tub Saloon
1100 N Ocean Dr,
Hollywood, FL 33019
(954) 921-9425
Established on November 2, 1959;
as a Sunoco gas station, is what we
now know to be “The Le Tub Saloon”. Sunoco
was closed by the energy crunch of the early
seventies; however, the barren property was
purchased shortly after in 1974.
In reference to ambiance, this Hollywood
staple has been kept as original as possible;
keeping its artsy and eclectic feel. Oh, and
did someone say ‘Menu’? On a white sheet
of paper is a printed menu that has specific
instructions that says.. Well, You’ll just have to
see it for yourself.
Now back to the food, if you love burgers, this
spot will take you to the moon & back. And
if my word isn’t good enough; “In 2006, GQ
declared Le Tub’s sirloin burger “the best in
the country”, which is, by proxy, the best in
the world. An endorsement by Oprah Winfrey
also followed soon after. They also have a
MUST TRY, famous chilli!

3. OCEAN11 Whiskey Bar &
Kitchen (A DIVE BAR)
They provide so many food options, from
Hummus Platters to Building Your Own
Omelettes. For the meat lovers, a Full Rack of
mouth watering Baby Back Ribs and for the
healthy folks; fresh Grilled Chicken
Caesar Salad. They also have the best
Hot Sugar Donut Holes for lunch,
dinner, breakfast or dessert.
This spot is the official after party, it
stays open from Friday to Monday and the
kitchen stays open as well. Their Lobster Grilled
Cheese Sandwich is definitely a MUST TRY... you
can thank me later!
