Gold Cards for
Senior Citizens
Football players
from Lone Star High
School take the field
before a game at the
Ford Center.
Seniors, don’t miss the opportunity to attend athletic and fine
arts events free of charge.
T
he Frisco ISD Gold Card isn’t gold,
but it is worth its weight in gold to
senior citizens who use it to attend
FISD athletic and fine arts events. The
free pass gets older residents into games,
concerts, plays and other events at no
cost.
The Gold Card, which was printed on
gold paper years ago, is intended to rec-
ognize senior citizens for being “golden”
partners with the school district.
“The Gold Card is a great way to get out
and support our outstanding athletic and
fine arts programs,” said Ticket and Sports
Information Specialist Brent Reese, who
oversees the program. “Frisco ISD’s phi-
losophy of smaller schools means more
kids are participating in extracurricular
activities, and there are tons of opportu-
nities year-round for older residents to
catch students on the field, on the court,
on the stage or wherever they perform
and compete.”
Gold Cards are accepted at all Frisco
ISD schools and venues, including
Memorial Stadium, Toyota Stadium and
the new Ford Center, but they only work
at FISD events. Certain restrictions may
apply.
Anyone aged 60 or older who lives in
Frisco ISD, or another part of the Dallas/
Fort Worth metroplex and has a connec-
tion to FISD, may receive a Gold Card.
FISD retirees under the age of 60 are also
eligible. Gold Cards can be picked up at
the Frisco ISD Administrative Building,
5515 Ohio Drive, or Athletic Office, 6942
Stadium Lane.
Frisco ISD updated the Gold Card over
the past year to include a bar code that
simplifies use and assists with tracking
and security. If you have an older paper
Gold Card, please visit FISD to receive a
replacement card.
