However, they were a good start, because in each letter we tried to convey a good message, both with the text we wrote and the care we put in the letter itself. We ended up liking each other very much because we got to know more about each other’s countries, and each letter was more beautifully illustrated than the previous one.
To conclude, in our opinion, this project was very good and all the time we spent on it was for a very good reason. It was something different from what we usually do. With this project we learnt more about each other, we learnt more about Portugal and Morocco. We learnt more about how good it is to know someone from a different culture.
We hope this work continues the next year because we want to keep on talking to each other. And today, with the new technologies, we can talk to each other using different social networks, we can make video calls and text each other. And why not a students’ exchange programme to know even more about each country?
One of the reasons friendships between different cultures are unique is the communication between friends, the respect between them and the interest in learning more about another country and about different cultures.
We think that friendship between people of different cultures, different races, different backgrounds is a great value and is very important, because it makes us know other people, other cultures, other religions. Friendship is one of the most important things in the world because it makes us feel good. We talk to our friends just about everything, from our daily life to our problems and ambitions.
When we started this project we never had problems with communication, however in the final part of this project we had some problems to communicate but nothing that we didn’t manage to solve. We both think that the letters we exchanged in the 1st and 2nd terms weren’t enough for us, because they took a long time to get to their final destination.
