The Enterprise Programme
We offer a range of projects within our Enterprise Programme – with the aim that every young person
in Northumberland has the chance to succeed. This includes working with local schools on Virgin
Money’s ‘Make £5 Grow’ programme, The Employability Programme in partnership with Barclays Life
Skills and our own Work Experience Programme.
The aim of The Alnwick Garden is to raise aspiration across the board – we would now like to develop
our Enterprise Programme further to have a more significant impact on enterprise in the local com-
munity in two distinct ways:
•
Supporting disadvantaged young people to gain employment with The Alnwick Garden and
partners
•
Supporting people in the local community to develop enterprises to enhance the visitor
offering at The Alnwick Garden.
We are actively seeking funding to develop this programme. If you are interested in supporting us
with this, please contact Jayne Edwards on [email protected]
An Opportunity to Give
We appreciate any donations towards our Community Programmes. Around half the costs are funded
by a portion of the ticket fees, but the programmes are in high demand and we would love to do more.
If you are interested in supporting our Community Programme with a gift, sponsorship or would
consider leaving us a gift in your will, please contact Jayne Edwards on jayne.edwards@alnwickgarden.

Gifts, however large or small make a huge difference to the community work we do and to helping us
achieve our vision of creating opportunities and enriching lives through The Alnwick Garden.
