SHEREIF KHOLEIF
Hi, my name is Shereif Kholeif and I am the
2017 GUSA finance convenor. I come from
an Egyptian background but have grown up
around the sunny west end of Glasgow
attending both Hillhead High School and
primary. I then moved all the way round the
corner to Glasgow University to study
medicine. I am going into my intercalated
year studying sports exercise and nutrition as I wish to have a career
in sports medicine. I have previously been the treasurer of the Muay
Thai club and now the captain. Through Muay Thai and freshers’
helping I was able to gain access to GUSA and see all that they do
which brought me to make the decision of running for council. GUSA is
a fantastic student body to be a part of. As Finance Convenor I will be
your main port of call for accessing funding allocated by GUSA. I will
be there for most of your funding inquiries and working along side the
president and other committee members to increase opportunities for
Glasgow students in all aspects of sport.
