OTHER PLACES TO GO ON A NIGHT OUT
Concert Square- there ’ s plenty of places to drink in concert square . Level and Electrik are nearby so if you wanna head somewhere else before you go into the club try here or just spend a whole night hopping between the different bars . Einstein , Mcooley ’ s and Modo are some of the most popular !
Cava- if you feel the pre drinks wearing off by the time you ’ ve got to concert square don ’ t worry , down the road from Electrik is Cava where you can get the shots in . They do tequila shots in literally any flavour you can think of- mint choc chip , bubble-gum , raspberry …!
Baa Bar- another popular club just of concert square that ’ s usually busy on Fridays and Saturday . Be careful though the stairs are lethal- we wish someone would ’ ve warned us as freshers cause we ’ ve stacked it down them plenty of times .
Events- keep your eyes out on ticket sites and Facebook for different events held at places like Camp and Furnace , Kitchen Street and Meraki for one off nights out . Souljam is a popular event with a night full of disco , soul and funk music which is a must go .
FOR FOOD AND DRINK
Bagelry- little bakery in Chinatown that sells loaded bagels , donuts and coffees . Get down there early though because they run out of stock quick and once they ’ re gone they ’ re gone !
Revolution on the Docks- some people will know of Revolution from back home so this might not seem all that special but Revs at Albert Docks is a great place for drinks and food with a view ! Make sure you get your student discount with mocktails / cocktails 2 for 1 .
Backyard- ever wanted to drink a cocktail out of a mini wheelie bin ?
