Wellesley Welcomed
On August 8, the Wellesley Police Youth Academy visited GHQ in Framingham. Members of the State Police Mounted Unit, Motorcycle Unit, Underwater Recovery Unit(Dive Team), STOP Team, Traffic Programs Section , Air Wing, and K9 Units provided an opportunity for the kids to get a hands-on look at different assets within the Massachusetts State Police and the services they provide across the Commonwealth.
One-Shoed Subject Unable to Outwit Aengus
Just after midnight on July 31, Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Barracks in Concord, State Police K-9, and Troopers working construction details on Route 2 responded to Concord PD’s report of a subject fleeing a motor vehicle crash. Trooper Paul Conneely and K-9 Aengus deployed into a wooded area with Trooper Stephen Bigusiak. Aengus searched the area and found a sneaker belonging to the fleeing person. The one-shoed subject continued hiding in the wooded area until he was located by Aengus. Bicycle Crash
On July 24, Trooper Michael Hardman and Trooper Neal Noonan assigned to the State Police Milton Barracks responded to a vehicle versus bicycle crash on the VFW Parkway. Trooper Hardman is pictured here at the crash scene.
