Mayhem like last night at the La
Folie Douce?
I’m just blown away by that place.
Go in there and they’re just sending it
so hard. We got hammered, and then
I was completely useless and didn’t
go out.
Well we have got the DC party
tonight and I’ve been on my best
behaviour for the last two days...
seeing as how DC kindly hooked
up this trip, what’s it like working
with them?
I’ve been with DC for eleven or
twelve years now and it’s just
been a really good, well-supported
relationship.
I have a lot of input in the actual
equipment. We actually just finished
making, what I believe is, the best
DC snowboard boot we’ve ever
worked on - something that I’m
proud to put my name on. It’s been
a lot of product development and a
lot of testing other brands’ boots as
well to make it happen. I just want to
be happy with it before I stand by it,
you know?

The same with the boards. I feel like
we’ve done something new with the
Media Blitz. I’m just really psyched
on the products that they allow me
to have input on - and it’s just a fun
relationship. You learn a lot too.
It’s like you get a free education in
design, marketing and all that stuff
just by being involved.
