Each year , our community puts on an amazing celebration in honor of our country ’ s independence and freedom . It has been an enormous pleasure for Bob and I to have been part of what began as a small community parade , and has grown into a three day multi-event celebration .
We are looking forward to this year ’ s Freedom Fest “ The Great American Road Trip ” and once again having the opportunity to see the smiles on the faces of our fellow citizen ’ s as they watch the array of bands , floats , cars , and cast of characters march past them . In planning for this year ’ s parade , we are reminded of the success of the 2014 “ Destination America ” parade and all the individuals who provided their time and energy to make it so .
Bob and I would like to take this opportunity to extend a big THANK YOU to all of the many participants of the 2014 July 4th Parade . Your entries , from bands to floats ( which were just amazing ), and walking groups were so creative and entertaining . You are all Absolutely the Best paraders ever ! And the spectators too ! We ’ d also like to send out a huge Thank You to all of the Volunteers who helped make the Parade a safe , sane , and outstanding event . And Thank You , as well to the many folks who have made donations from small to large and to our sponsors , especially CommonWealth Central Credit Union the “ Premier Sponsor ” of the Morgan Hill Freedom Fest 4th of July Parade . You ’ ve helped make not just the Parade but all of the Morgan Hill Freedom Fest events possible .
Isn ’ t Morgan Hill a great place to live ! Events such as these July 4th celebrations make me proud to be a part of this community that we call home . See you at the 2015 July 4th Parade !
