Back on earth, Subha is now in charge of the IFF Botanical
Gardens she helped to create, which houses the largest collection
of scented orchids in the world. After many years in the business,
she has not lost her sense of wonder at the majesty of the natural
world – in fact, it has increased. This wonder serves her well.
She approaches each new project as if it was her first, but
bolstered with the extraordinary experience she’s gained over
the years.
“Over the years, I have learned that all the experiences and
lessons we (humans) have had and learned -- nature already
knows them. Every day, walking through to the IFF Botanical
Gardens, I learn, see or experience something new. It is truly
amazing as there are countless opportunities out there in Nature
that we have not even begun to touch. Amazing Nature!”
