Dream
Written by Tyree Randolph
Martin had a dream and his dream was one day white people and black people could go to the same school, eat at the same restaurants, and drink from the same water fountain. He even wanted to intermingle between the two races. He knew one day that was going to happen, but he also knew he would never get a chance to see it. Even still, he is one of the black people who helped us gain freedom, equality and a chance to live. Tyree has a dream that peace, unity, courage and love will one day be upon the streets, the homes, the jobs and most important the families. This dream will be for the people without a home, without a job and the people that sleep under the bridge even under thirty degree weather. I will become the person who is needed for the people one day. The choice is mine. I will be the man who makes it from Camden and helps take care of my city, my family, and my people. I, Tyree Randolph have a dream about bringing change to Camden.
Camden

Growing up in Camden, being one of six kids, I have learned to help others out before I help myself out. When I help others out then they can help me, and we both can grow up knowing the right thing. For example, I helped out a group of family members that were fighting when I couldn't even fix my own arguments with my friends. Helping them break up their fight made me and my friends realize that arguing about simple things is stupid. Instead of fighting, I’ve learned to talk it out. Arguing and fighting is not going to get people anywhere in life. Growing up in Camden has ??????????????????????????????????????????????????((??((
