PREPARATORY SCHOOL
We are now at Laser Tag . The students are just listening to the instructions while Mrs Cooper and I type this . We have had another exciting day in Canberra . After AIS , we went to Floriade - which we all enjoyed in different ways . Mrs Cooper , Nurse Christine and I were delighted to see all the tulips in bloom . We then drove to the Arboretum ( which is a conservation area of endangered trees ), and there is the most amazing playground which we had to drag the children away from . – Mrs Ray
It ’ s such a pleasure to share this experience with this fantastic bunch of children . We have been having the most wonderful time . All the children are getting along really well and are displaying some wonderful ‘ Guildfordness ’.
Accommodation is very comfortable with plenty of hot water and fabulous food . Last
night was roast night and your children have been literally licking their plates . Today we have also been focussing on ‘ new friendships ’. We ’ ll see how this pans out .
Tonight we are off to the Botanical Gardens for an adventure . Can ’ t wait . – Mrs Cooper

29 September Well , it has been a busy time . We have had epic days , stunning weather and full immersion into our Australian history and democratic system . We are now on the bus heading to Sydney and have a few moments to catch up on sleep , reading , blogging and looking at the stunning NSW landscape . This is a joy spending time with your kids and watching them explore their understandings around our nation and the history and people who have shaped it .
Canberra was simply awesome ! And the Governor General is supporting the Swans . – Mr Wight
