This Is Our Culture
Since the 1950's the car scene has been thriving. Growing from what used to be a backyard build and a weekend meet up at your favorite burger joint with friends to a movement we as enthusiast passionately pursue. From rat rods to muscle cars, the 50's and on were the years of pioneers. Enthusiasts were always looking to push the limits of their cars and show their peers that nothing is impossible. Modified carburetors, custom exhaust, small blocks, big blocks and flames painted on the sides of cars were the thing back in the days.
But today, we have evolved from what once was to what now can become because of our imagination. We take what used to be economic cars and turn them into our own street monsters. But that alone isn't what the culture is about. It's about the community we build, share and are a part of. The friendships and brotherhoods we create because of a common passion. As enthusiasts our ambition is to grow and outperform one another when we should be pushing each other to be better and lending a hand when needed. Competition is a beautiful thing as long as we use it to grow as a community and a culture of enthusiasts.
Let us push the false thoughts of who we are as a culture and show people we can come together as one and be influential people. Let it not be the death of someone who influenced the culture that brings us together but what we can accomplish together as enthusiasts that does it. We lose many influential people to violence, irresponsibility and carelessness in our community. Let us not lose another one. Yes people come and go, people lose their lives on a daily basis, let it be because they were meant to go and not because they were careless. You can take this for what it is worth to you. But the truth is the truth.
Let's have fun, enjoy ourselves at meets and show the world that we as enthusiasts can come together as one for the greater good of a culture and others. Let’s show them that we aren't some punk street racers or careless hooligans. We are a community of passionate enthusiasts who come together to share one passion, cars. And we will continue to gather because we have the right to and look to pose no threat or harm to anyone. We simply want to share one common thing, the love for cars.
