Owen at 26 is as much an enthusiast as anyone else. Growing up in Sarasota FL, cars and motorsports were always in the family. He got to know Sebring, Daytona and Desoto Speedways for what they were, fun and speed. Owen got the mod bug we all have at a good time, 16 years of age. Perfect timing if you ask us. His passion for cars was never about the car scene but more so on what the cars did for him and how the cars made him feel.

Owen's true desire was a Miata even after testing S2000’s, Z3’s, Z4’s and MR2’s. Most would call Owen picky; we say he had his mind set. But the decision was truly made when he picked up his 2005 Mazdaspeed Miata. Since then, he has put in some work to get it where he wants it to be. A little creativity along with proper knowledge and he put together his own little monster.

Wanting to set himself apart, the Lava Orange color fit right into his plan. Six months in and Owen has invested a good amount of blood sweat and green. A breath of fresh air for the Miata comes from a custom built intake kit that relocates the MAF Sensor after the turbo and in front of the throttle body. Along with that comes a new throttle body inlet and Greddy Type-S BOV.
