Artificial Intelligence and
Data Science Masters
The University's School of Computing and Mathematics launches new MSc in
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science
Keele is one of only 18 Universities
awarded a share of £13 million by the
Office for Students (OfS) to boost the
number and diversity of graduates in
A.I. and data science technologies
over the next three years. As part of
this initiative, the School of Computing
and Mathematics are launching a new
MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data
Science in September 2020.
The course is being designed
from both an employer and
student perspective, based on our
internationally recognised research
in multidisciplinary A.I. and Data
Analytics, to provide distinctive and
inclusive teaching for students from
a wide variety of backgrounds. The
course considers applications from
people from all disciplines or areas of
work, by providing those without prior
experience, modules in the foundations
of areas such as programming and
mathematics.
All students can then progress to more
advanced areas such as Machine
Learning, Data Analytics, Visualisation,
Cloud Computing, the “Internet of
Things” and Intelligent Systems.
During the course, students will also
further develop their academic and
professional skills and get the chance
to work with other students and
external organisations to make real
interdisciplinary and societal impact
in taught modules and as part of an
industrial project/placement.
Keele alumni are eligible for a
20% discount off the tuition fee
charged. More information on the
alumni discount can be found on
the Postgraduate Bursaries and
Scholarships page here:
