Jack Foley & Fr. Stan O’Konsky, SJ: Prep Legends
The term “legend” is not one to throw around lightly, but when
talking about Jack Foley and Stan O’Konsky, it is the only term
that suffices. The two teachers have served Fordham Prep for a
combined total of 101 years (50 years for Foley, 51 years for
O’Konsky), teaching thousands of Rams and teaching lessons
inside and outside the classroom.
Jack Foley ’63
We want to hear from you about your personal experiences
with Mr. Foley and Fr. O’Konsky – whether from the classroom,
the athletic fields, an Emmaus retreat, or a random moment.
Please send your memories of the two Prep legends to
[email protected]. We hope to print the tributes in the
next issue of the Ramview to applaud their years of service.
Fr. Stan O’Konsky, SJ
