Fordham Prep Wins the
Turkey Bowl Challenge
The Fordham Prep football team was not the
only group of Rams to win on Thanksgiving
Day. Fordham Prep and Xavier took part in a
friendly competition to see which school
could bring in the most gifts from their
Classes of 2002 to 2016. Dubbed the Turkey
Bowl Challenge, the competition ran from
October 26 to November 23 with each gift, in
any amount, counting for one point, and
each school reporting their “score” after each
“quarter.” Thanks to a late fourth quarter
push, the Rams prevailed over the Knights,
307-267.
Fordham Prep will display to the Turkey Bowl
Challenge trophy for the next year. The Class
of 2010 earned a Christmas Happy Hour for
having the largest number of participants.
