Outdoor Track & Field
The Varsity finished 3rd in the CHSAA City Championship. Colin Duignan finished 1st in the Pole Vault; Kyle McHugh, Ryan McKay and Christian Dimitri finished 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the Discus; Joshua Johnson in Javelin and Charles Dillon, Charles Gstalder, WIll Maghak and Hunter Wiles in the 4x800m Relay earned 2nd place finishes.
In the CHSAA State Championship, Will Maghak finished 2nd in the 800m with a time of 1:55. Adetoni Aboyade-Cole earned 3rd place in the High Jump, Joshua Johnson 5th in the Javelin.
At the Eastern States Championship, Adetoni Aboyade-Cole broke a 20-year-old Fordham Prep record for the sophomore triple jump with a leap of 43 feet, then followed that in the long jump with a leap of 21’ 8” breaking a 71-year-old Prep sophomore record. Chris Balthazar ran two of the fastest sprints in Fordham Prep sophomore history, taking second place in both the 100m and 200m dashes in times of 11.27 and 22.75. Colin Duignan qualified for the state championships with his first place finish in pole vault.

Colin Duignan set CHSAA record for juniors and tied for the # 1 pole vault in New York State in indoor season.

The Track & Field community came together to induct three new members into the Fordham Prep Track Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Matthew McMillan’ 88, Idris Payne’ 01, Brian McCabe’ 04!
