The gorilla is the mammal having similarity with humans as much as 90% on their genes. Found in Africa, their diet is fruit, herbs, stems, roots, trunks. They live in small demands no more than 10 members among adult males (over 8 years), young females with their young. To reproduce they need three years since its conception, birth and parenting complete. They are not aggressive but can react in time when in danger or their breeding herd, males take the place of mother when left alone through abandonment or death.

In the early 90s is estimated that there were more than 5000 but for different reasons: disease caused, the most severe in the death of gorillas is poaching of nearby residents.

Worldwide there are organizations and important work to terminate the slaughter and increase reproduction in this species.

Not only is this disappearing gorillas have more 30% of the species that are becoming extinct exiten we do projects and plans for education in the formation and perservar culture for our animals.
