“We’ve sponsored the club since they first started out;
they were associated with another club and as they
were about to disband we asked Clanfield if we could
become part of their set up. Sunday 16th June 2019
was the first official day associated with the club and I
coach the U10s that I brought from the other club. My
son Flynn plays as a winger and is quick and a good
passer.
All I want to do as a coach is help the players to improve
as much as possible and show them that playing
football can always remain enjoyable. Hopefully all the
lads will keep developing and progress to the seniors.
I think the seniors will do well thanks to the drive the
management has. It is very important to get the whole
community involved and feeling part of the club. I’d just
like to say thank you for making us feel so welcomed
and wish everyone involved good luck for the future.”

club and we are looking for our boys team to buy into
becoming part of the club and feel like they have a say
and can help the football and social side grow.
“The biggest challenge for us is the running costs and
also we need to build new changing rooms, more hard
standing and some more seats to reach the next level.
Also, we would love to have more volunteers which is
the biggest crisis in non-league football. Our ambitions
over the next five years are to achieve promotion to
step 5 and then to establish ourselves there and grow
the youth section. Off the field we will be looking to add
new changing rooms and more pitches.”
