Broccoli Rabe, a distant relative of the broccoli, which is not only high in vitamins A and K but consists of chemicals that protect against cancer.
Purslane , Farmers try to get rid of it, but they shouldn’t. It contains high levels of Omega 3 fatty acids which are anti-inflammatory heart-healthy fats. The more Omega 3one consumes the better.
Arugula, although it contains 5 calories per cup, however it also contains high levels of vitamins A and K in addition to eye- healthy carotenoids and calcium.
Dr. Jonny Bowden wrote a book called “The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth”, in his book the largest food group was the Vegetables. What was very interesting that most, almost all vegetables identified as the healthiest were green. Therefore I believe it's safe to say that Green is the Colour of Health.
Fennel, Its benefits are not commonly known among the general public however it is an easy cure to everyday problems as it relieves gas and helps with cramps.
