Intense UV pulses are able to fully sterilize clear-packed clear liquids and open surfaces
as it was proven on our PL system by the Baxter Corp . with UV resistant spores of B . Pumilos . The effectiveness of PUV to deactivate micro-organisms increases with its pulse power from that of continuous UVC to 10`s times as much in the PUV region and even more in the PUVD region where bacteria and spores are fully disintegrated by fast overheating by strong UV pulses .
It allows to sterilise transparent liquid products in clear UV transparent packaging or bottles .
