The Tenderometer indicates pea maturity with industrystandard tenderometer reading ( TR ) which directly correlate with pea quality grades . UV-C Resistant Belts
UV-C rays lamps are being used for sterilization in the food industry and overexposure can cause damage to plastic belts . Volta food grade belts have been tested rigorously for a simulated operating period of 5 years under irradiation of 0.1 mW * s / cm2 across the entire belt . There was no degradation of belt surface and no loss of flexibility , only a minor loss of color over time .
