Soi 10. A Canadian sanctuary but all other
nationalities welcome to chill while enjoying
good food and drink in a nice environment,
There are two p layful reason as to how it got
the name. First Sway movement of peoples
bodies when they are having fun with friends,
Its also a play on words for the Thai word
meaning beautiful.
As you walk in the door you will experience
your first Candanianism a Lonnie and Tonnie
placed face down out of respect for Queen of
Canada, a tradition started when the Canadian Ice Hokey Team won the Gold Medal in the
Winter Olympics 2012. These two coins were
imbedded into the ice rink. For the benefit of
non-Canadians a loonie is a a one Canadian
dollar with with the image of a loon bird on
the reverse side and a toonie is a two dollar
Canadian coin.
A key attraction of their food menu is the
selection of 30 different flavour of chicken
wings from around the world. Margarita
wings marinated in tequilla then tossed in sea
salt, black pepper, cilantro and lime. Lemon
Szechuan a marinade of lemon juice, lemon
zest, Szechuan pepper corn and chilli. Creole
cajan dry spiceswith mustard and BBQ sauce.
The Canadian coated in thick, sticky, buttery
maple syrup. Or perhaps The Dark Chocolate
the exotically delicious combination of dark
chocolate, chilli and sea salt. For anyone with
serious chicken wing addiction there is an ‘All
You Can Eat’ promotion on Thursday and Sunday 6-12pm for just THB 300.
Poutine is Canadian comfort food, French
fries with with Cheddar or Mozarella cheese
with beef gravy. The fries should be medium
cut and possibly double fried so that the inside is soft and the outside crispy. If possible
use cheese curds for the perfect texture. The
gravy should be light and thin slighty spiced
with just a hint of pepper. Here the fries are
imported frozen from Idaho.
The SWAY burger are made with house
ground Australian beef for the patty served
with cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles and tomato served in Maison Jean-Philippe burger
bun.
Comfort food, home made house ground Austrain beef patties for burger. Hamburger buns
from Maison Philipe. Other bar snacks include
mixed nuts roasted in garlic chilli and lime.
This is the house of craft beer with a rotating menu of beers from Italy, America and
Japan of which six are available . In addition
two craft ciders from New Zealand. A selection of affordable priced wines by the bottle
from THB 1,200-1,500..
Before 11pm there is a relaxed selection of
music after that a resident DJ plays music
from to top 40
Sitting on the terrace is a popular place for
people watching and the comings and going
of the two clubs in the compound.
