Getting
Paradise
That Piece of
By Diane VanArsdale
On a recent vacation to Cape Coral, Florida, a hidden
gem near Fort Myers, a Switzerland couple was enjoying the tropical weather, boating, and other “fun-inthe-sun” activities, when they met Caprice, a German
native real estate agent who would soon touch their
lives forever.
After a brief introduction through a mutual friend,
Caprice immediately connected with this couple; after all they were from neighboring countries.
She
discovered they were both very interested in interior
design, so she invited them to tour Team Aubuchon’s
model home, The Mandolin, to give them a taste of
interior design, Florida style. The Mandolin model is
situated on The Mandolin canal, only minutes away
from the Caloosahatchee River, the gateway to some
of the world’s most renowned beaches. It is a chic,
coastal home, boast ing a unique nautical design
theme throughout, with an outdoor living area sure
to amaze even the most discerning buyer. Once our
Swiss couple set eyes on the incredible resort-style
pool, with its unique waterfall and enchanting firewall, they were hungry to know more about investing in the States. Caprice assured them investing
in real estate is very different here – in fact, it is a
much easier process, and with the right company, can
be a very rewarding experience. They had not even
thought about building a home as an investment until
Caprice began to explain how it works: She would
guide them through the process of building, making
their selections, utilizing it as a vacation rental, and
when the time is right, list the home.
At that point,
they made the decision to move forward, even though
they would not be here during the building process –
they would be making decisions from back home in
Switzerland.
Prior to leaving, Caprice took time to get to know their
likes, dislikes, personalities, and what is important to
them, so she could get a clear picture of their goals
and help them choose the best location to build. She
introduced them to Team Aubuchon’s in house architectural design team who would ultimately design
their home to take full advantage of their chosen waterfront, Gulf access lot.
