MESSAGE FROM CEO/PUBLISHER OF
US FIJI TIMES, USA.
We have come yet again to the biennial power
house of the event that sets the stage for some exciting competition amongst the best in Fiji Soccer.
The event this year being held in Nadi, Fiji from October 13 to 18th will afford the patrons the glimpse of talent from the five countries
that feature in the program.
Fiji as host will be the team to beat due to home advantage but team from broad always comes prepared with some aces up the sleeves
to pull out surprises to take the limelight from the host nation.
Team USA would be no pushover and with many seasoned players, the team is set to take on its counterpart in classic style, as always.
This major enactment has always been very entertaining and with the many vocal supporters has proved to be as equivalent to any major
soccer tournament held by Fiji FA. The US Fiji Times is proud to be part of the event and will feed the world with all the updates through
its social media page and publications.
One major aspect that I as the CEO would like to emphasize to all the players and team management, that in view of the dismal performance of Fiji Team at the recent Olympics, it would be very heartening to see that these tournaments raise the bar in terms of player and
team performances and showcase talents that may be used by our Fiji National side to uplift its image internationally. Particularly with the
resources we have abroad, each respective Muslim Soccer bodies can see through such programs that can present to our nation players
that can bring glory to Fiji Soccer similarly to Fiji Rugby Sevens Team.
With these being said, I would like to wish all the team the best and pray the All Mighty for a successful Muslim World Cup 2016!
