FMP WORK 1 | Page 38

On my first page on my website, I have an automatic sliding picture part and the picture has to be landscape. You can’t edit them to zoom out or in, they have to be the exact fit. Therefore, I had to re take a few pictures to make them fit and look professional.

Joomag can be a very temperamental software, which is annoying. For example, I was doing my work and it just would not save no matter how many times I pressed the button. I done a full page of work and I had to refresh the site and it deleted all of it. I was so annoyed but there wasn’t much I could do but start again.

When I first took my pictures of the toys and accessories for my website, I laid them on my kitchen surface underneath my sky roof for the natural lighting. The background was grey, which I thought at the time looked nice as it stood out against my products. However, once I uploaded it to the website, I didn’t feel it looked professional enough. Therefore, I decided to retake the pictures using a lighting box but I still wasn't satisfied with the outcome. The pictures were making my website look less professional. Therefore, I decided to get pictures from my competitors websites and reference them in my bibliography. It has made my website look so much better and I am pleased with the outcome.

Overall, I haven't faced too many problems. I think this is because I planned my work out really well and I started the work straight away, I didn't wait around. I also followed my smart targets so everything was done in time. These problems below are quite minor but they are ones that I have come across. I was quite lucky that I didn't have big problems.
