I have created an Instagram account for Bertie’s Boutique. This is because my target audience spends a lot of time on different social media platforms, and the most popular being Instagram. On Instagram, I have been posting pictures of the stock, photos of new treats for the café and customer pictures. I will posting regularly so that pictures are always coming up on my customers time line. In the comments of each post I will comment a lot of hashtags. This will increase the amount of engagement of each post and hopefully attract more followers and potential customers. I will use my Instagram story to post pictures and use the polling feature to interact with my customer. I could ask them questions like ‘should we restock this?’

On Instagram there is a new feature called ‘Shop’. This is when companies can attach the link to the picture of the item they are selling. This is really beneficial because it means customers can purchase the products straight away.
