Confetti and lace is a competitor to my
brand it I located at 529 Brompton Walk,
Lakeside Shopping centre, Thurrock RM20
2ZL, it is a well-established bridal
boutique. This shop also hosts the famous
Tv show ‘say yes to the dress’ they stock
many designers but all at different prices,
I consider them as a competitor to me as
they are located in Essex and will be
selling dresses which are modern and
also traditional where I will be located in
Essex and I am selling dresses
which have a range of prices but lower
prices.
I want to understand my competitors and
their materials, pricing, sizing and types
of dresses. This boutique doesn’t actually
create their own range of dresses
however they are stockists of the same
brands as David's Bridal
Another competitor is David’s bridal
located in Westfield shopping centre In
Stratford it sells dresses at a discounted
prices which is a type of method which I
am using. It is very popular and located
in the East part of London.
This boutique sells lots of brands of
dresses.
The one thing I will have in competition
is that they stock Vera Wang but I will
be creating inspired dresses.
A big competition I will have with
this bridal boutique is that they have
their own range of dresses where
confetti and lace are just stockists
of modern and traditional dresses.
I don’t consider these two companies
as direct competitors because I can’t
find anyone who does the same as
me because I guess it’s not a thing
that the company goes by. But
through research I think these 2
stores will be the closest competitors
to me as they are on the cheaper
end of the spectrum and focus on
making brides happier without
spending a huge amount of money.
They aren’t direct competitors they
don’t do the exact same thing as me
however they are near to me and
selling similar style dresses to the
dresses ill be focusing on.
