THE LATEST POLITICAL TELL-ALL
Politics and Prose Bookstore
The indie bookstore has been D.C. fixture for more than three
decades. And while independent booksellers are becoming a
rarity, this one has flourished, opening two additional locations at
District Wharf on the Southwest Waterfront and at Union Market
in Northeast. Not only will you find the latest Washington insider
accounts, but a broad selection of best-selling fiction and classics,
too. A steady stream of author appearances includes a mix of high-
profile politicos and best-selling writers.

OFFICIAL PORTRAIT OF MICHELLE OBAMA
National Portrait Gallery Museum Shop
The former first lady’s portrait by artist Amy Sherald was so popular when it went on display in February 2018, it
had to be re-located to a larger viewing area in the museum. Obama’s stylized likeness now adorns everything from
matted prints ($19.99) to totes ($29.99) to magnets ($7.99).
