considered invisible disabilities . These disabilities can cause individuals to have difficulties during their travels .
In order to minimize these challenges , Dulles International and Reagan National Airports are proud to be part of the global Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program . The program allows customers who choose to wear the sunflower lanyard to discreetly indicate they have a non-visible disability . The lanyard shows our employees that customers may need assistance , or simply more time . Dulles International and Reagan National Airports are proud to be the first airports in the region to offer this customer amenity .
Passengers can pick up a complimentary Sunflower lanyard to indicate they have an invisible disability . Lanyards are available at :
