Joanie Baker Hendricks recently held her twins, Harper and
Hudson’s, 5th birthday party at the airport and the party
exceeded her expectations. She loved that the kids (and
adults) were thoroughly entertained and everyone had a
chance to learn. She mentioned the staff is multilingual
which makes interaction wonderful and engaging. Joanie
said the atmosphere was like Disney magic. She loved

getting to enjoy the party with her kids while the airport
staff took care of the details. Joanie’s favorite activity was
the interaction with Airport Police and K-9 officers. This
was favored because it helped break down barriers and
humanized law enforcement for the kids. Kids who came to
the party apprehensive about interacting with animals were
able to easily interact with the K-9.

Saturdays only, starting at 10 am.
