IN THIS ISSUE

As the temperature drops and we get back into the post-summer routine , the cadence of life picks up . Life is always busy for our cover star , Angie Goff . She ’ s busy on FOX5 News . She ’ s busy on her Oh My Goff ! podcast . And she ’ s busy focusing on her family of five . Goff is a delight and shares her travel hacks for flying with children . She ’ s a local who graduated from high school in Herndon and has marveled at the growth of the region .
Speaking of growth , read the Neighborhood Spotlight on One Loudoun , the expanding community where you can shop , live , work , and dine . Set within the Northern Virginia countryside , One Loudoun is the perfect spot for an elegant vibe . Also throughout the Loudoun county region are some of the region ’ s best winemakers . Or head north into rural western Maryland and visit the Antietam Highlands Wine Trail . The Fall Foliage & Wine Tasting Adventure will guide your way .
Our airports are growing , changing , and celebrating this season . Join us as we celebrate 60 years of Dulles . The airport was opened in 1962 by President Kennedy and was the most recognized airport in the world . Reagan has completed Project Journey — the major project which added state-of-the-art security checkpoints and a new 14-gate concourse . Also new at the airports is the Green Concessions Program which offers guidance and encouragement for airport concessionaires to implement and maintain sustainability efforts .
Since we are at the airport , we share delightful destinations such as magical Hawai ’ i — the perfect winter getaway and only one flight from Dulles to Honolulu . Or go the other direction to Amman , Jordan , where the old world meets modern style . Lagos , Nigeria has emerged as a global hotspot and we ’ ll share where to discover oceanfront beach clubs and canopy walkways . If you don ’ t feel like digging out your passport , then stay domestic and visit Key West to transport yourself into the laid-back island life .
If you ’ re a local here in the D . C . region , or just visiting , you must check out the electrifying dining scene . We have a round up on top local culinary talent including ssam boards at Angel Barreto ’ s Anju and drinkable art from Barmini by José Andrés .
