The 2019 Dulles Day Festival and Plane

leaps from the starting block on Saturday,
September 14, 2019. The day starts with
the seventh annual 5k/10k run in the early
morning, and from 11 am to 4 pm, the 27th
Annual Plane Pull — where teams of 25
attempt to pull an 82-ton FedEx Airbus
A320 or United Boeing 757 airplane 12
feet in record time — takes place, with
food, games, exhibitions, and live music in
between. It’s human versus machine, and

participating teams are to raise money
for Special Olympics Virginia and the

team, most money raised, and more.
The Dulles Day Festival and Plane Pull
