Patriotic Installation at DCA

Equally compelling are the Lincoln Memorial-inspired photo installations. At Reagan National, the display is located in National Hall near the entrance to the C Gates. At Dulles International, travelers can find the installation post-security in Concourse B near Vino Volo. Designed around the iconic seated figure of Abraham Lincoln, the displays invite visitors to step into a replica chair and place themselves at the center of one of America’ s most recognizable symbols. Surrounded by cherry blossom imagery and America 250 branding, the installations blend patriotism, history, and the unique character of Washington, D. C.
The response has been remarkable. Images of travelers posing in the Lincoln chair and beside the patriotic airport letters have spread widely across social media, reflecting a continuing national affection for Abraham Lincoln and the ideals he represents. Together, these displays transform ordinary airport spaces into celebrations of American heritage, civic pride, and the enduring spirit of the nation’ s 250-year story.
